Before now, users have only been able to use Google Stadia on three phones: the Google Pixel 2, Pixel 3, and Pixel 4. When the new phones are given access to the streaming service on February 20, Google Stadia will be accessible on over 20 different Android phones. While the list of Android phones lengthens, no other kind of phone has been given access.  On top of the newly added devices, players will still have access to Stadia on tablets, laptops, desktops, and any television with a Google Chromecast Ultra.

In the post, the company stated, “Starting February 20, you can play Stadia with even more phones. ASUS ROG Phone I & II, Razer Phone 1 & 2, and a variety of Samsung phones, including the Samsung S20 line, are all supported.” The full list of newly added phones includes:

Samsung Galaxy S8 Samsung Galaxy S8+ Samsung Galaxy S8 Active Samsung Galaxy Note8 Samsung Galaxy S9 Samsung Galaxy S9+ Samsung Galaxy Note9 Samsung Galaxy S10 Samsung Galaxy S10E Samsung Galaxy S10+ Samsung Galaxy Note10 Samsung Galaxy Note10+ Samsung Galaxy S20 Samsung Galaxy S20+ Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra Razer Phone Razer Phone 2 ASUS ROG Phone ASUS ROG Phone II

This announcement comes just one week after Google announced that five new games will be added to the platform. The group of games announced included Lost Words: Beyond the Page, Panzer Dragoon: Remake, Serious Sam Collection, Stacks on Stacks (on Stacks), and Spitlings. Both, Stacks on Stacks (on Stacks), and Spitlings, will launch exclusively on Stadia, before coming to other platforms at a later date.

Since Google responded to fans’ frustration about the lack of community updates, the streaming service has made it a point to let users know what is coming in the near future. Along with letting players know which phones have been added to the list of Stadia devices, and the announcement of the five new games, the company has also announced that Google Stadia Pro subscribers will be able to claim Metro Exodus and Gylt, throughout the month of February.

While many phones are gaining access to Google Stadia, it is important to note that, while fans may own one of the newly added phones, a subscription is still needed for the service. The Stadia Pro gives players access to the service at monthly rates of $11.99/month.
