Specifically, there will be 12 games available when the Google Stadia release date arrives next Tuesday, November 19. They are: Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Destiny 2: The Collection, Gylt, Just Dance 2020, Kine, Mortal Kombat 11, Red Dead Redemption 2, Samurai Showdown, Thumper, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.

Furthermore, Google has emphasized that a number of other games will be available on Google Stadia before 2019 comes to a close, naming 14 titles specifically. They are: Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle, Borderlands 3, Darksiders Genesis, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Farming Simulator 19, Final Fantasy 15, Football Manager 2020, Ghost Recon Breakpoint, GRID, Metro Exodus, NBA 2K20, RAGE 2, Trials Rising, and Wolfenstein: Youngblood.
As such, it appears that fans will be able to play close to 30 games on Google’s game streaming platform by 2020, and that is certainly not an insignificant figure. Additionally, some of these games are undoubtedly considered masterpieces by many fans, and there is even a Stadia-exclusive, indie title, Gylt, included in the launch lineup. That said, many of the games confirmed here have been available for quite some time, and it remains to be seen if they will be enough to convince players to become early adopters of Google Stadia.
What might get players to jump on the Stadia bandwagon are a handful of AAA titles that are exclusive to the platform, and there is indeed indication that some are in the works. Alongside the announcement of Stadia, Google revealed Stadia Games and Entertainment, a studio being led by industry veteran Jade Raymond, which could have some big games in the works. However, it does not seem that one will be offered alongside the launch of Stadia, and that may leave some players reluctant to take the plunge on the platform at this time.
Google Stadia will launch on November 19.
